Sustainability

A long journey that makes one happy

Conti degli Azzoni expresses its commitment to sustainability by relating to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that make up the United Nations 2030 Agenda, defining priorities, measuring results and communicating them to obtain or improve their performance.

There are eight Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the company devotes concrete action to, through tangible initiatives.

More attention has been paid  to sustainable production, to enhancing the human capital and the environmental protection.

The company implements agricultural practices aimed at conserving ecosystems, improving the quality of the soil and decreasing the environmental impact of crops (management of the organic fertilization of the vineyard through a distribution system with variable rate, adoption of organic management, collaborations with suppliers who are sensitive to sustainable issues).

Human capital is the heart of company policy. In 2019 Conti degli Azzoni started an Employer Branding project aimed at creating a positive work environment, a greater sense of belonging of employees, an attractive context for potential talents.

The company's contribution to the fight against climate change is made above all through the calculation and monitoring of its carbon footprint, while the protection of biodiversity is realized with a project launched in the soil of its wine-growing lands.
